Position Description: Web Designer and Developer, as a member of the delivery team, will be responsible for understanding all aspects of the planned business solution, with focus on one more functional or technical work streams. This will include managing deliverables, daily interaction and relationship management with key business customers and IT team members, and has an understanding of the various, interfacing systems.

Responsibilities include:
  • Understand current state processes and requirements of the project.
  • Translate current processes into future state processes and requirements.
  • Create Solution Delivery Methodology documents for Agile(Features, User Stories, tasks etc.
  • Confirm traceability of documented requirements with final solution.
  • Support testing activities o Review test cases developed by Team:
    • Define test data requirements o Coordinates defect resolution and re-testing efforts.
  • Create detailed deployment and roll-out plan, including IT, business, and supplier tasks.
  • Final verification of system functional readiness for deployments.
  • Provide input to iteration discussions, presentations and Application Demos.
  • Assess change requests for functional impact and provides or facilitates estimates.
  • Implement existing program-level standards for design, security and controls, user interface and documentation.
  • Capture lessons learned and communicate to team.

Experience Required:
  • Java developer with 5 years of solid experience with java, angular, spring boot microservices technology and firm knowledge in object oriented design and software development.
  • Experience in building distributed / service oriented / micro-service-style and cloud-based solutions using Java (Spring, Swagger, etc.).
  • Familiarity and experience with industry standard SDLC models (i.e., Agile, Unified/RUP).
  • Comprehensive understanding of relational database and NoSQL database concepts.
  • Experience in working with Oracle or MS SQL Server or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with the following tools and technologies:
    • Spring Platform (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud) Cloud Native Development on Pivotal Cloud Foundry Platform or similar Micro-services development
    • Development of Web Services REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML/SOA
    • Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins CI/CD or similar)
    • Pivotal Cloud Foundry Platform (Gradle, GitHub, Redis Cache)
    • Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks
    • Continuous Delivery process refinement and tool sets such as Jenkins, Nexus
    • Monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
    • Scripting skills- Shell Scripting , Ruby, Python or similar tools

Education Required:
  • Computer Science or related.
