Application Maintenance Tech A phenomenal opportunity awaits on a team that is responsible for driving connected vehicle strategy by managing global data streams that integrate with internal systems shaping the future of vehicles. The Application Maintenance Tech is responsible for application maintenance tasks: • Analyzes the usage of system resources (i.e., CPU, storage, memory, applications) and initiates actions to reallocate • Provide regular application performance metrics to all levels of management and update DDLs • Performs and reviews batch and job scheduling, as well as troubleshooting of incidents, analysis, problem identification and service restoration for hardware, software, and network components • Plans, reviews, and verifies proposed hardware, software and/or network changes • Ensures incident resolution and coordinates with others and escalates as necessary (i.e., technology SME, application SME, and operations hierarchy) • Performs monitoring of production systems using appropriate tools for incident detection • Participates in or leads in problem and root cause analysis • Leads the execution of infrastructure or application changes according to rigorous change control procedures resources according to service level agreements • Responsible for developing and maintaining operational metrics Skills Required: • Strong communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate sophisticated decision making • Ability to collaborate well with engineers, designers, and Business Partners • Basic Knowledge on Infrastructure • Familiarity with Hadoop and cloud technology • Exposure on IT Operation, ITPM, ISP Knowledge and ITIL • Background in solution design and software development • Exposure on ITIL Process and ISP Process • At least 3+ years of Application Maintenance experience • Java Framework and Angular experience preferred
