- This position is to lead the design and development of connected vehicle cloud solutions for data engineering and acquisition with a strong emphasis on Vehicle, Cloud Applications, and Micro Services
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design and development
- Delivery of quality, timing, and financial objectives of a project
- Process driven approach, capable of managing complex installations which will require detailed design work
- Define and develop detailed requirements in short time-boxes by working with diverse technical stakeholders.
- Conduct scoping sessions with business and integration partners
- Conduct iteration planning meetings and story mapping with software engineers
- Create software development user stories from the technical design using tools like Jira and Rally
- Understand business and user priorities, and perform technical feasibility analysis in order to prioritize the product group backlogs and manage risks
- Build and manage product roadmap including dependencies
- Conduct Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and iteration retrospectives
- Gather user and stakeholder feedback using lean validation techniques to drive improvements and manage the product groups roadmap
- Actively works to remove impediments and blockers to the product groups delivery
- Negotiate product timelines with business partners and dependent teams
- Develop relationships with the supply base to learn about the latest technologies and possible implementations
- Review existing system designs to find new opportunities for cost or quality improvement.
- Interact with program teams, core engineers, and functional areas to create balanced solutions to competing requirements
- Experience gathering requirements and creating user cases and stories for vehicle, mobile, cloud applications and micro serves testing.
- Experience gathering requirements and tracking progress of various projects.
- Experience creating and running testing scenarios for user accessibility
- Understanding of automotive vehicle electrical systems (or equivalent)
- Enthusiastic to be able to bridge the world of embedded vehicle controls systems with the world of connected services and consumer electronics
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Experience in progressive responsibilities in IT and Agile Software Development Methodology, creating and managing backlogs
- Bachelor s in Engineering / Science, Information Systems or related discipline
