- To lead API development and provide production support in SAP on-premise environment, including SAP S/4HANA integrating with BW/4, BPC, Fiori, Ariba cloud, PCF, non-SAP Informatica MDM and legacy systems.
- To perform full life cycle of API management from build, mask, spike, publish and monetize APIs. To work with the client stakeholders and vendor to design and configure API enhancements. To gather customer requirements and develop/test/deploy API solutions to provide interoperability with hundreds of upstream and downstream applications. To consult upstream and downstream application teams on consuming SAP APIs leveraging IBM API Connect and DataPower gateway.
- To consult with architects to ensure design compliant to Integration reference architecture standards and principles to connect and mashup multiple endpoints from heterogeneous landscape. To extend solutions for mobile, offline and integration.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience of In-depth API and ABAP development in S/4HANA eco-system Strong experience with SAP API testing strategy.
- At least 2 full lifecycle implementations with S4 HANA; Strong Experience in implementing integrations for an ERP program leveraging standard/out of the box and Custom API Strong hands-on experience in PoCs leveraging SAP APIs, ABAP programing and enterprise middleware such as Informatica, PCF, DataPower and API-Connect.
- Data center knowledge and experiences Project Management experience Strong and open communication skills both verbal and written. Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- To thrive in a fast-paced working norm and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously. Develops and integrates IT solutions (e.g. application module code, purchased package customization) by using appropriate development methodologies and standards, adopting/applying standard architectures/patterns, taking into account critical performance characteristics, security measures and customer requirements Collaborates with others (e.g. System Designer/Analysts, Architects, Senior Developer) to establish the physical application framework (e.g. libraries, reuse modules, development environments)
- Develops and advocates corporate standards in solution development and implementation Ensures the development and execution of unit test plans to validate that application modules meet technical specifications
- Ensures technical inspections are performed at appropriate stages of development Lead creation of production support documentation Works with others (e.g. Operations, System Designer/Analysts, Developers) to prepare and stage production builds, and verify production releases meet technical and business expectations Reviews code developed by software engineers and provide feedback to ensure quality deliverable Functional experience in Finance and Accounting, Purchase to Pay business domains Experience in trouble shooting complex systems and performance testing and tuning Active practitioner of AGILE methodology and familiar with architecture runway. Technical knowledge and experience in HANA Database, BOBJ Reporting, Linux operating systems, and enterprise integration.
