Position Description:- Develop comprehensive automated test scripts with tools like TOSCA for core mainframe legacy applications for unit, integration, regression, user acceptance tests.
- Explore and implement test automation of batch files and mainframe reports.
- Research new automated tools and technologies to eliminate manual processes and improve existing systems.
- Explore and implement automation execution reporting methods and integration with backlog management tool.
- Explore and implement test data automation.
- Train and assist business/IT applications users with development and execution of automated test scripts
- Work closely with business and product teams to consult on test automation strategy and approach.
- Automated script development and execution with UFT, or related automation tools, Analytics & Reporting etc.
- Experience with unit, regression, integration, user acceptance testing.
- Strong understanding of testing process and methodologies and agile concepts.
- Good working exposure to Rally or other backlog management tool.
- Knowledge and understanding of software design and development.
- Strong problem solving, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Quick learner and adaptable to learn diverse technologies.
- Agile Mindset.
- Exposure to test automation of APIs using tools like SOAP UI, Postman etc.
- Software craftsmanship.
- Exposure to TOSCA.
- 3+ years of experience in software development and test automation.
- Experience in testing applications with no GUI front end.
- Java or API development experience.
- Exposure to Mainframe applications.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
