Position Description: Windows Server Administrator will be responsible for providing level 2 support and development for managing the server infrastructure in Enterprise Data Centers and distributed locations globally. The candidate should be passionate about scripting and automating administration tasks to drive efficiency through creative thinking with reliability and consistency. Skills Required: - Deep understanding of Windows Server Operating Systems. Win 2008 to Win 2019 and IIS
- Strong scripting, automation and development skills with PowerShell
- Microsoft Windows Server Failover Clustering
Experience Preferred: - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): server Infrastructure preferred
- VBScript
- Familiar with MS SQL DB
- Tier-3 application hosting architecture
- Experience with virtualization: VMware vSphere ESXi, and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Center environment supporting Windows server infrastructure and associated toolset
- This position requires the individual to be flexible in work hours and be able to work morning or afternoon shifts of Noon. It also involves occasional weekend and holiday work. The Administrator will be on a rotating weekly on-call schedule 6-7 times a year
Education Required: - Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the requested field
