Ability to troubleshoot applications and interface issues, determine root cause and direct the mitigation efforts. Strong/In-depth understanding and experience working with vendors and in-house applications (feature, function, capabilities), how the applications integrate with one another and operate from end-to-end. Working knowledge and experience navigating the data structures and relationships, both at a technical and business level Detailed working knowledge of Business processes that operate and/or interface with applications. This includes understanding functional and data capabilities. A developed understanding of the vendor product configuration options, how the product and setting affect business or technical processing as well as impact on compute infrastructure/resource utilization. Ability to assess, advise and contribute to vendor product upgrades and patching. Clarity of how the changes impact the applications and related business processes, including comprehensive understanding and experience with QA processes. Strong database SQL query skills (ability to create complex multi-table joins) Availability to support off-hours operations and issues. Able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with Internal Teams, Business Teams and Vendors.
