Minimum Qualifications?
  • 2 years of experience in a delivery support role, such as scrum master, release train engineer, project/program manager or relevant role
  • 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies, trends and best practices
  • 3 years of experience with the software development lifecycle
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business or other relevant field
  • Demonstrated proficiency with facilitation and influencing others
  • General knowledge of a work tracking tool, such as TFS, Jira or similar work tracking tools
  • Experience in identifying and improving delivery metrics
  • Experience using analytical skills to create and apply value-added metrics
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word and Visio)
Preferred Qualifications??
  • Agile certification(s) and/or extensive experience in an Agile delivery environment
  • Advanced knowledge of a work-tracking tool, such as TFS, Jira or similar work tracking tools
Job SummaryThe Agile Release Manager supports a group of technology teams by leading them in their journey to adopting Lean-Agile practices. They assist with optimizing their workflow by relentlessly focusing on quality, speed, predictability and value delivery.?

Responsibilities
  • Coach technology teams toward lean and Agile processes to optimize their delivery workflow
  • Lead the preparation and execution of release planning and manage the release calendar of events
  • Work with Product Development team members to ensure a high quality of features and sound estimation
  • Partner with technology teams to ensure the work tracking tool provides visibility into a release
  • Facilitate alignment and clarity of commitments with partners and stakeholders
  • Help teams escalate/remove impediments
  • Communicate sprint updates and release announcements
  • Identify and present metrics to coach teams and technology leadership
  • Analyze and improve delivery practices through collecting feedback and working with the appropriate teams
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, such as System Demos and release Retrospectives
  • Build and maintain trust through meaningful relationships with team members and partners
  • Provide Agile coaching to help resolve process issues within teams
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the supported business area to keep the team's focus on delivering business value
