3 years of experience in front-end development building large-scale web applications
Strong Javascript expertise and experience in modern UI frameworks (e.g., React/Redux, ES6)
Extensive knowledge of the DOM, HTTP, CSS3 (e.g., Flexbox, Grid) and core web technology concepts
Strong communication skills when talking about technical concepts

Job SummaryThe Front-End Developer develops, improves, tests and/or maintains software that builds the technical foundation of a simple, easy, and fast experience for buying or selling a home. The Front-End Development team collaborates with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ship impactful products.

Responsibilities

Build web applications using the latest web technologies (such as React.js/Redux, CSS, Javascript) based on user needs
Investigate specific client-side areas, like performance, cross-browser compatibility, animations and accessibility
Practice disciplined software engineering (automated testing, code reviews and writing readable code)
Tune web applications to be high-performing, intuitive and functional through experimentation and data analysis
Iterate on solutions and new practices for improving the SEO of our products
Participate in and actively contribute to solution design exercises
Assist the team with understanding and defining delivery estimates
