- Define, lead and facilitate a Sourcing Team through the sourcing process.
- Ensure proper definition, finalization and concurrence of all sourcing requirements, strategy, implementation, assessment criteria and negotiation approach with the team.
- Develop bid packages, supplier and solution qualifications and analyze responses.
- Create and implement sourcing strategy for specific commodities and measure results.
- Manage relationship with key commodity customers, suppliers and ensure delivery in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
- Facilitate meetings and identify corporate and business unit requirements.
- Develop financial analysis as a basis for negotiations.
- Facilitate RF(X) process. Define commodity level implementation plans, product forecasting and negotiation strategies at an enterprise level.
- Develop benchmarking statistics for specific commodities and facilitate the gathering of business and technical requirements.
- Perform lease verses buy and total cost of ownership analysis to determine best value for organization.
- Understand procurement policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed.
- Proficient in procurement systems PeopleSoft and current industry standard.
- Microsoft: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
