- Marketing Cloud Application Knowledge: (Email Studio, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Contact Builder, Mobile Push and Journey Builder)?
- General Language Knowledge: AmpScript, Service Side JavaScript (SSJS), and SQL?
- Deep understanding: .NET to build the services that we need for real-time email sends?
- Cloud Knowledge: Ideally AWS, but other cloud similar product understanding acceptable (SQS, IAM User, ECS and SNS Topic)?
- Must understand Contact Management, specifically ContactKey for all types of sends/deletes?
- Marketing Cloud Configuration?
- Marketing Cloud Admin/Config Side?
- Marketing Cloud Connector Config/Settings (if connecting to an SF org to sync data)?
- Installed Packages and the various types of Components( API integrations, etc.)?
- General MC API knowledge of both SOAP and REST calls?
- Marketing Cloud Execution?
- Data Management, understand data designer and relationships?
- Security Settings and configurations?
- Subscription Management, understand OptOut / Inflow control for both email and SMS?
- SAP (Send Authentication Package), understand how domains are configured for sending email?
- Short Code configuration, understand how to configure SMS sending?
- ENS (Event Notification service) for capturing notifications of transnational sends?
- Own processes, automations, troubleshooting, support, and administrator of a Business Unit within Salesforce Marketing Cloud?
- Work with engineering and product owner to identify data points needed to trigger emails through MC, based on use cases?
- Help define the data strategy based on use cases?
