Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent competency in information technology, business management, marketing, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience or equivalent competency in an Agile delivery support role, such as Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or related
  • 3 years of experience or equivalent competency leading implementation and adoption of Lean-Agile principles, practices, and frameworks
  • Experience scaling Lean-Agile practices
  • Experience working in a variety of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, XP, and Kanban
  • Experience using Agile work management tools, such as Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADS) or Jira
  • Experience influencing, negotiating with and gaining buy-in from stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Experience leading workshops, including story mapping and writing
  • Experience coaching teams in different phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and at varying degrees of Agile maturity

Job SummaryAs the Senior Agile Coach, you will be a strategic partner that guides the adoption and scaling of Lean-Agile practices and workflow optimization across a business area or value stream. In addition to coaching teams, you will mentor peers through the journey of Agile transformation. You will combine business goals, Agile expertise, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure continuous delivery of value.

Responsibilities
  • Guide the adoption and implementation of Lean-Agile principles and mindsets across a value stream or business area
  • Recommend Agile team structures to leadership to improve the health and Agile maturity
  • Contribute to an end-to-end Agile transformation strategy for the organization
  • Promote and participate in communities of practice (CoP) across the organization
  • Recognize trends affecting program goals and support short- and long-term resolutions, guiding the removal of roadblocks when necessary
  • Use Agile metrics, such as velocity, lead time, and throughput, to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions
  • Implement Agile Transformation drivers, goals, priorities, metrics, and best practices with Agile Coaches and internal stakeholders, including leadership
  • Facilitate, and contribute to the development of trainings to increase strategic, business, and technical agility
  • Support implementation of program workflow processes, such as work intake, estimation, and prioritization
  • Facilitate program Agile ceremonies, such as program retros, scrum of scrums, or System Demos
  • Optimize the flow of work across a business area or value stream using work management tools
  • Collaborate with leadership to support team member onboarding and growth
  • Stay informed of Agile industry trends and best practices
