Minimum Qualifications?

  • 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role?
  • Experience with adapt/buy/create discussions, requirement gathering and decision making?
  • Background with user experience?
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of driving and making prioritization decisions that align with business/Product Manager stakeholders?
  • Experience with training leaders for enablement?
  • Experience with accurately road-mapping products' vision?
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, computer science, information management systems, or a closely related field or equivalent experience?
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

  • 5 years of experience in a product development role?
  • Knowledge of the mortgage industry?
  • Deep expertise in the upstream and downstream dependencies of their business area as well as other product dependencies?
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner Training?
  • SAFe PO/PM certification?
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite?
?Job Summary?The Senior Product Owner aligns product visions and prioritizes what we deliver within a Lean/Agile engineering team environment. They are the direct owner of a delivery team's backlog and are responsible for story creation, acceptance criteria definition, prioritization and deciding a story is "done" and ready for production.?

The Senior Product owner may also be the owner of a Release Train feature backlog and responsible for feature creation, acceptance criteria definition, train feature backlog prioritization, and deciding if a feature is "done" and ready for production.Responsibilities?
  • Foster the vision and definition of business processes and systems, application/system workflows, user scenarios and data needs for their products' domain
  • Consider the interdependency between all products in a stream when creating the vision
  • Participate in decisions about the technical capabilities and communicate limitations of the underlying technology of the product(s)?
  • Maintain a clear focus on why we're implementing the technology product and its context, its audience and what problem it will solve
  • Define requirements for how a user interacts with a product that enables a simple, efficient and intuitive user experience?
  • Provide consistent and effective representation for the voice of all users
  • Discover business partners and related product teams to assist teams and reach a common understanding of the Product Owner's products' capabilities and vision?
  • Ensure the Engineering team is aligned with priorities that all stakeholders agreed on?
  • Consistently bring new knowledge, insights and best practices back to the team to drive release planning and forecasting
  • Drive ideation and serve as a key decision-maker of the priority of stories, features and epics while providing full transparency on the value of each?
  • Maintain a clean backlog based on capacity and create a continuous flow of value?
  • Author high-quality user stories, features and epics, always ensuring that acceptance criteria are met when work is complete?
  • Mentor and coach other product owners?
  • Implement and drive new best practices within the Product Owner Community
