- Manage activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation
- Review business ideas and the relationship between the business ideas and the company's vision and missions?
- Identify problems that need to be resolved behind business ideas, define the business context for the problem, recommend potential solution options (which may include RFIs, RFPs, or prototype development), select the most optimal solution, and craft the development of a roadmap for the chosen solution
- Champion a structured approach to business architecture
- Communicate the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborate and coordinate with existing domain owners in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures
- Assure solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with enterprise concerns like security, compliance, performance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and other technology standard guidance
- Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership
- Develop and execute solutions that further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work
