Minimum Qualifications?
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience
- 3 years working experience in database and application development using MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other database products
- 2 years of experience in management, leadership, and administration
- 2 years of experience in working in production database environment
- 1 year of experience with cloud technologies, such as Amazon Web Services or Azure
- Proficient in communication, client service, work management
- Broad knowledge of data processing systems, concepts, and methodologies such as relational database, No SQL etc.
- Broad knowledge of software development concepts
- Knowledge of various programming languages, such as C# and .NET
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Communicate and embody the culture and mission of the company
- Lead and mentor the team on performance, production and day-to-day tasks
- Create an environment of innovation for team members to focus on personal, team and company growth.
- Maintain effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
- Clear roadblocks for the team and drives execution to deliver on commitments
- Develop and communicates strategy and vision for the team
- Develop short-, mid-, and long-term key results with the team to achieve team objectives
- Develop and retain talent in alignment with Infrastructure and Data Systems team's vision and roadmap
- Lead interviews and discussions regarding hiring decisions for candidates and promotions, pulling in appropriate subject matter experts as required
- Prepare and deliver reviews, compensation adjustments, and promotions.
- Partner with existing IT teams to integrate cloud infrastructure, database and network environment with on premises infrastructure and data center environment
- Identify, implement, and drive the adoption of best practices within the leadership community.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and other teams to foster collaborative and confident communication
- Strengthen and maintains key relationships with leadership in supported business areas
