Trattoria Da Luigi, an Italian family-owned business in the heart of Downtown Royal Oak, MI, is seeking a Cook / Sous Chef to join our team. No experience needed but will have a passion for Italian cuisine! Experience is a plus but not a need.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

Prepares ingredients and dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards

Maintains a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety guidelines

Collaborates with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service

Ensures that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing manner

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum age of 18 years old

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Reliable transportation

Familiarity with Italian cuisine and cooking techniques

What to expect:

Hourly wage or salary to be determined based on experience

Opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly environment

Our restaurant hours are 4-10pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays and 4-11pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
