Lawn Care / Landscape Team Member
Employment type: full time (40+ hrs typical, OT as required) for the 2019 season
Compensation: starting pay of $14/hour. Working hours typically 8-4. Paid weekly.
Company location: Royal Oak. Most of our work is performed in Huntington Woods, Berkley, Birmingham and Southfield.
Looking for someone with a good work ethic to help a seasoned team do quality work.
Ability and willingness to perform the following duties:
Use of hand and power tools to perform a wide range of lawn and landscape duties.
Work for extended periods of time in various weather conditions, including overtime.
Ability to use mowing equipment (stand-on, zero turn and walk behind), power (edger and whip) and hand tools.
Clean and maintain equipment
Follow direction from the team lead and willingness to provide productive feedback to help us do a better job.
Job Qualifications:
One season of lawn and/or landscape experience for consideration.
Must be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day.
Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, i.e., rain, heat, sun, cold. You are outside, better than sitting in a cube!
Must be willing and able to communicate with others.
Must be able to lift, move and maneuver up to 50 lbs. on an infrequent basis, and up to 10 lbs. on a frequent basis.
Must have endurance necessary to perform these duties throughout a standard eight-ten hour day (weekends when we need it).
Must have transportation to and from work and a valid drivers license.
