Need Michigan Lawyer to review an Opinion letter issued by our law firm, Spiegel & Utrera, P.A. is a national law firm, but not licensed or doing business in Michigan. The agreement provides that it is governed by Michigan law.
The questions raised and answered in the opinion letter are as follows:
1. Does Michigan law really apply, especially given the fact that the
transaction is between the factory in Mexico and the clients manufacturing in Germany?
2. Is the contract valid and binding?
3. Is there a way to terminate or contest the contract?
4. If the clause or the contract will be void in its current form, what laws do apply? Mexican?
