We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and self-motivated Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an entry level technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has some knowledge in diagnostics and troubleshooting.
You will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and drivetrains
· Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks and heavy-duty equipment
· Repair and replace (minor) engine components, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and more
· Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve performance issues
· Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with managers
· Work independently and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
· Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
· 2+ years of experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment and vehicles
· Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software (Preferred but not required)
· Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and minimal need for supervision
· Most tools supplied but preferred to have own tools and valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
· ASE or OEM certifications a plus
