Overview

The Sr. Office 365 Enterprise Solution Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support for internal business. This includes, but is not limited to, analysis, design, Innovate, automate processes, project estimation, as well as product support and systems administration. The Sr. Office 365 Enterprise Solution Analyst often functions as the IT Partner or Project Manager on major, large-scale projects and provides guidance and mentoring to team members. This position involves direct coordination with other team members, departments, business partners and outside vendors on project management.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

  • Plan, organize and direct the implementation and/or development of Office 365and SharePoint systems in accordance with strategic business plans on multiple large projects
  • Interface with customers to provide issue resolution for products and processes
  • Communicate with management and business partners on business systems and project status
  • Review, analyze, and gather customer requirements and recommend innovative system solutions to appropriate management
  • Work closely with internal business units to facilitate project completion
  • Provide technical advice and counseling to both project managers and technical staff on in-house business systems, proposed business systems and system features
  • Provide business rules interpretation for functional and technical specifications, system designs and documentation for business solutions
  • Interface with software vendors and suppliers in support of business applications software
  • Provide direction and mentoring to team members
  • Develop complex solutions using standard Office 365 and SharePoint features, third party tools, or client side development languages
  • Mentor and Coach Team members on application knowledge, solution design process
  • Solve T2/3 user problems in a timely, efficient and friendly way Document the solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Conform with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of business processes for supported business groups
  • Advanced knowledge of Office 365/SharePoint Operations Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and follow-up skills with the ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
  • Significant experience in a large and complex business environment
  • Knowledge of GM Financial's core business functions
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (eg, ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC, etc)
  • Knowledgeable of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutions
  • Working knowledge of all system applications
  • Working knowledge of information systems and operations systems for supported business groups
  • Working knowledge of the Corporate Business solution environment
  • Knowledge of SQL development for Office 365 and SharePoint solutions
  • Experience operating within and defining Agile and DevOps frameworks Experience with web development languages and applications: HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, REST, SharePoint Framework, Angular, Knockout, ASPNET, Visual Studio (Code)
  • Expert experience gathering business requirements and software requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience required

Experience

  • 5-7 years of SharePoint expertise required
  • 2-4 years of Office 365 expertise required
  • Experience consulting or leading SharePoint projects preferred

Licenses

  • Office 365 or SharePoint Certifications preferred
  • Client Side Web Development Certifications preferred

  • Normal office environment subject to stressful situations
  • Flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours including weekends/holidays, occasional overtime may be required
  • Limited travel may be required to support business needs
