Software Engineering Manager, Farmington Hills, MI
This position is 100% Onsite. Company Will Relocate Candidates! We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager that has started in a te4am management and technical leadership role and is looking for accelerated career opportunities and challenging problems to solve. Responsibilities: - Be the Team Lead / Project Manager in architecting, designing, developing, testing and rolling out core business applications and data/analytics solutions for insurance and healthcare clients.- Participate in strategy and roadmap engagements, product/framework evaluation and selection, implementation planning and mobilization, resource, scope, timeline and budget management for software projects.- Facilitate and drive activities, meetings and communication between: Client Business/IT stakeholders, Program Managers, fellow Team Leads, Architects, Technical Leads and Developers. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related is preferred.- Experience designing and developing enterprise class business applications, integration solutions and/or data solutions using technologies such as Java/J2EE, .NET, JavaScript and SQL.- Experience managing and leading software projects using agile philosophy and various Agile methodologies.- Strong organization and management skills around people and processes as it relates to software development.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Excellent verbal communication, written communication and interpersonal communication skills.- A minimum of 75% travel. The role requires a minimum of 3-4 days away from home/week visiting clients in US.
