- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of SW requirements
- Design, implement and test ADAS algorithms based on customer and internal requirements
- Implement ADAS algorithms in Simulink and generate code with Matlab ecoder (4 out of 5 engineers)
- Implement ADAS algorithms in C (1 out of 5 engineers)
- Test implementation in MIL and SIL testing, on bench (monitor HIL) and in vehicle, unit tests and SW quality tests to ensure flawless implementation
- Create checkpoint in version control system for code handover
- Integrate Algorithm code into SW build environment
- Compile and flash complete SW onto ADAS sensor
- Plan implementation efforts with APL and FO
- Review test reports from MIL/SIL/HIL/Vehicle tests, analyze failures, provide guidance for test case creation
- Troubleshoot bench test issues, vehicle test issues related to feature
- Peer review code/model
- Analyze reported issues
- Review algorithm test reports
- Bachelor or Master in Engineering, Maths, Physics, Computer Science or related subjects
- Strong communication skills
- High level of autonomy
- Business fluent written and spoken english
- 2 years experience in requirements elicitation, derivation, construction and management
- 2 years experience in model based software development (4 out of 5 engineers)
- 2 years experience in embedded software development (1 out of 5 engineers)
- 2 years experience in automotive algorithm development in passive safety or ADAS
- 2 years experience with Automotive development lifecycle (according ASPICE)
- Expected tools knowledge:
- Version control SW such as PTC/Integrity, PVCS, Git etc
- Requirements management database such as Doors
- Matlab + Ecoder (4/5 engineers)
- IDE such as Visual Studio, Eclipse (1/5 engineers)
- Software test tools such as QAC, Cantata, Polyspace, TPT
- Automotive Simulation environments such as Carmaker, CarSim
- Lauterbach, Trace32, Vector CAN tools
- SW Compilers such as Tasking Tricore, GCC, Windriver, etc
