IT - BICC Governance Specialist - Intermediate

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an IT - BICC Governance Specialist - Intermediate for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Manufacturing clients in Farmington Hills, MI. Overview: The primary and foundational responsibility of the Business Intelligence Competency Center Governance Contractor is to provide Successful Customer Outcomes in user access and root cause analysis in the resolution of break fixes identified by our user community in the following environments: • Cognos Management reporting (approx. 800 users), • Operational Reporting (approx. 400 users) • Data Warehouse (approx. 350 users) • MORIS/ARoE data marts (approx. 100 users) 1) User Security: Process user requests for access to Cognos, Data Warehouse, MORIS, and ARoE Data Marts. Update CISM reporting environment in support of customer base. Gather user access requirements and necessary approvals. Track progress and issue resolution for Promotion ticket requests. Aid in user security audit analysis. Communicate status to BICC team to ensure successful customer experiences. 2) Business Intelligence/ Governance/Metadata/Advanced Analytics: Support BICC governance tools and processes, ensure compliance with governance requirements, Maintain documentation. Develop new analysis as required. Review current policies, practices, and procedures to ensure legal/corporate compliance standards within organization. Keep informed of current laws affecting NPPI practices; conduct research and prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations to BICC leadership as necessary. 3) Project Management: Perform many basic project management activities, including document updates for monitoring and tracking progress of project. Meeting minutes, preparing presentations and analysis for BICC management as required. Track BICC projects and provide status updates to management. Maintain issues and action log for projects and other BICC activities. 4) Communication: Convey relevant information about initiatives or projects under management as well as any ad-hoc requests or analysis. Provide project status for Business Intelligence tasks, Status on BICC activities, prioritization issues, compliance with governance. 5) Professionalism: Refinement of business acumen, expansion of intra-company network and development of communication skills consistent with the culture. Required Skills:

• Must have strong customer service attitude, project management, and communication skills.
• Bachelors in Business or ITM required

• 5 years + of experience preferred
• Exposure to business and systems analysis- Project management experience; governance experience; DHW or reporting experience- Experience in a combination of the following: Project Management, IT, Accounting, Operations, Finance, Controlling and Reporting, or Risk
• Able to develop, design, and maintain Tableau dashboards and analytics Ability to Collect data and establish facts and identify trends and variances Ability to Integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity
