Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Mainframe Migration Analyst (Technical BA)for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Farmington Hills, MI. Responsibilities :
- Ensure a common understanding between IT and the business, translating business and technical language wherever needed
- Develop test plans, write test cases, perform tests, track progress for assigned workload and report on overall progress to management
- Understand and adopt IT technologies in accordance with Enterprise Architecture direction
- Develop and implement code in multiple environments
- This position is responsible for functional and process requirements for projects, enhancements and systems support.
- This includes all phases of System Development Lifecycle: initial idea development, requirements capture, process design, application development, testing and implementation.
- This position will require the individual to develop a good understanding of the business functions and processes, and use this knowledge to be proactive in seeking to produce a lean and optimized design.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience
- Experience in managing & analyzing requirements; ability to understand and explain requirements to team thoroughly.
- Experience with Requirement Traceability matrix
- Work with SME, Developers & Business to identify gaps
- Experience in writing Functional, Non-Functional, and Regression test cases
- Experience in setting up test data using SQL and batch jobs
- Build SQL queries to validate data quality
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis
- Use SoupUI & Postman for API testing
- Leverage jmeter for test automation and load testing
- Manual testing
- Test execution, document test result, and Defect management
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Work with geographically distributed cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.
- Experience in writing non-functional test cases for a new system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fast learner who can work in fast pace complex environment to meet timelines
- Strong understanding of System Development LifeCycle (SDLC) & IT applications development process
- Financial services/captive auto finance industry experience
- Experience with both SAFe/Agile, and waterfall methodology
- Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving skills
- Tools JIRA, SoupUI, Postman, jmeter, Excel, Word, Visio
