Job Role- System Architect Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Onsite) Job Description-
- Drives technical solutions related to the system architecture of the product (selection of system elements and interfaces)
- Owns and ensures consistency of the system model
- Determines and specifies the interfaces of the product and the system elements
- Guides the System Development Engineer in decomposing or flow down requirements from system product specification to system elements
- Facilitates evaluation of architecture for non-functional requirements and constraints
- Provides suitable views for different stakeholder, eg Function Owner, Safety Manager
- The System Architect is the technical instance in the project and responsible for the system model with focus on the physical architecture.
- Knowledge of (deeper understanding) the product and working experience in developing safety critical embedded systems
- Knowledge and experience in communication methods with customers and stakeholders to agree / elicit stakeholder requirements
- Knowledge and experience (deeper expertise) in system modelling methods (SysML)
- Knowledge and experience (deeper expertise) in describing the functionality of a product (black box) in its environment/context as well as the internal system elements and their interfaces (white box)
