Responsibilities include programming of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC based control systems, on-site start-up. Integration and programming of Robotic systems.
Description:
This Controls Engineer will be involved in all aspects of PLC and HMI programming, electrical design, Robot programming and implementation to include: conceptual design, functional specification, materials specification (electrical / pneumatic), materials requisition, software implementation, system commissioning, customer relations, as-built documentation, and work change orders. Assumes responsibility for projects to ensure performance and customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate a proficiency in the use of Allen-Bradley's RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, Factory Talk Suite and AutoCAD.
Some travel to client's job site for engineering and system commissioning. 10 - 20% travel may be required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering
2 plus years of Controls Engineering experience.
Experience with PLC and HMI programming utilizing.
Experience programming Fanuc, Denso or ABB Robotics.
