Arrow Staffing is actively seeking QUALITY INSPECTORS for a client in Walker, MI. The QUALITY INSPECTOR I position is a crucial member of THE production team. The QUALITY INSPECTOR I will to properly inspect customer product for damage and/or defects and to do so effectively and efficiently.
Key Objectives
Maintain an average of at least 90% efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work-space.
Correctly follow work instructions for each part.
Identify defects and report them to Supervisor / Lead and Quality Auditor.
Follow 5S Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
Capable of lifting 25+ pounds on a regular basis for 8+ hours per day.
Basic knowledge of arithmetic.
Basic knowledge of computer and mobile device operation.
Able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Roles and Responsibilities
Inspect, test, measure, and/or weigh materials, products, assemblies, or work for conformance to specifications.
Follow instructions to properly inspect or assemble customer product.
Meet high efficiency goals while maintaining exceptional quality limits.
Follow 5S workflow procedure to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Follow PPE and safety requirements to ensure an injury-free workplace.
Follow policies and procedures as outlined in Standard Operating Procedure and Shop Floor Policies.
SHIFT: 1ST - 5am - 1:30 pm
2nd - 2pm-10:30 pm
