M & R Undercar is a small but busy auto repair and custom exhaust shop on the westside of Grand Rapids. We are hiring a licensed and experienced automotive technician/mechanic to join our team full time.
Technician duties include but not limited to:
Inspect/diagnose vehicles
perform mechanical repairs
Suspension/brake work
Oil changes/tire rotations/general maintenance
Pipe Bending/Exhaust work
Electrical/wiring
Aftermarket customization
Restoration/Performance
Welding/fabrication

Technician Qualifications
Valid Driver's license
Possess own tools
State or ASE certifications required (3 or more)
High school diploma or equivalent.
5 Years experience in automotive repair is preferred.
Ability to use pipe bender
Knowledge of older model/classic cars
Ability to follow instructions, work effectively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
