We are a start-up non-profit organization in Clearwater FL. I am primarily an author and broadcaster on the topic of spirituality. My first book is called "Blinded by Normalcy: What is Life Anyways?" (amazon) and my show channel is called "Shock Therapy Radio" (youtube). My reason for existence is to liberate people from all of the systems of thought (social, economic, political, religious, corporate-speak, advertising, ad nauseam) that prevent them from living their own authentic life. The unshakeable truth despite everything we have experienced and will experience yet, is the importance of your contribution and your community that supports those contributions in your life. This is what we seek to make reality in a growing number of lives.
This position can be either hourly or contracted (20 hours weekly) depending on your circumstances and preferences. We would like to meet in person after every ten hour block to evaluate and clarify goals and development. We would also like to offer bonuses at mutually agreeable milestones/metrics of project development.
The first project (of many) is either a blog and/or a website of published articles from a team of freelance writers. These writers are approaching topics from the perspective of unplugging from institutional thought (as listed above) and promoting genuine spiritual freedom in terms of both issue awareness and actionable personal growth. The site goals would be the ability to upload articles, email articles to followers on distribution list, and capture reader contact information for use in dynamic interaction online and for future in-person events. These events would also be published on the site and managed online for attendees. Again, we are about contributions and community and we desire a website that reflects these themes intricately built-in to the site.
We encourage everyone who supports and is committed to these themes as our corporate values and culture. We also appreciate someone who is comfortable with consultative and frequent shoulder-to-shoulder in-person work process.
This is expected to be a long-term position for the right person and as we scale up our start-up operations. We value relationships not only as a mission for our constituents but especially for our team working toward future constituents through our online and in-person interactions.
