As an SS Operator 1, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance support on water
treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role
involves working on (and cleaning) a variety of technologies including, media filtration, softening,
reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).
The primary duty is to unload Process Filter Presses.Key Characteristics:Consult with Shift Lead and operation teams for directionOperate, monitor, and optimize equipment as directedChange and Clean Filters and other equipment / PitsConduct maintenance and calibration activitiesExcellent mechanical know howDuties & Responsibilities:Empty Process Filter PressesPower Wash Pits and Equipment including Confined Space EntryCarry out filter changes, process cleaning, and process operations as directed by Shift LeadsMaintain site paperwork, and provide summaries of work performedCommunicate with Shift Lead on inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement partsMonitor and maintain systems as directedPerform analytical testing as directedMaintain a clean work areaOther duties as assigned
