ERM is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our
Finance team in the Malvern, PA, Holland, MI or Boston, MA office. Working
closely with the Financial Controller, this position will provide
functional project accounting support to Project Managers and Partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide full-cycle accounting support for assigned projects, including:
Project setup and maintenance in ERMs Global Management System (BST-based
software).
Monthly invoicing and collections.
Monthly revenue recognition.
Coordinate global projects with international offices.
Create and maintain complex project tracking spreadsheets.
Assist with financial aspects of proposals for new work as needed.
Interact regularly with ERM technical staff, specifically Project Managers,
to ensure that projects are accurate in terms of budgets and general
project maintenance (e.g., ensuring project closures are occurring, project
change orders are approved timely, WIP balances are correct, project bill
rates are correct, expense/subcontractor mark-ups are correct).
Respond to consultant inquiries in an efficient and timely manner, via
phone, email, and/or face-face communication.
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of project accounting experience in a professional services
organization preferred.
Strong computer skills, including Excel and experience using mid- to
high-level accounting software packages (BST, Deltek, Oracle).
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees and
clients.
Ability to work with minimal direction in a highly collaborative manner to
meet required deadlines and perform all necessary tasks.
Hands-on professional with a strong attention to detail and
organizational skills.
