Our client is currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to fill a 13-week travel assignment in Ironwood, Michigan. Responsibilities
- Provide quality speech therapy services.
- Evaluate and assess your patients to establish functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
- Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers as indicated to promote the client's level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals and plan for discharge.
- Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed upon goals.
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist
- Required Licenses and Certifications: Michigan License, BLS
- Education Requirements: Graduate of an Accredited Speech Therapy Program
- Charting Experience (Required/preferred): Rehab Optima
- SNF experience; competent in Video Swallow Studies; Adult Outpatient care including voice, swallowing, speech/language impairments.
- Skilled Nursing/long term care experience since October 2019 (PDPM experience)
- Rehab Optima (Net Health)
- Negative COVID 19 test required (usually within 7-10 days of start)
- COVID-19 Vaccination card/documentation
Compensation
- Salary: $45-52/hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.
