- The PMO Analyst (mid-level) is responsible for many of the operational duties of the IT Project Management Office.
- PMO activities include reporting, reviewing Gate checks, interfacing with Project Managers, delivery portfolio leads, non-functional groups, and working with the rest of the PMO team to ensure all projects are on track and that process is followed.
- The candidate's primary responsibility will be to help Project Managers understand and navigate the IT PMO processes by answering questions, keeping documentation and websites up-to-date, facilitating training sessions and sending out communications.
- The candidate will also be responsible for reviewing and approving artifacts such as Charters, gate checks and change requests.
- In addition to the operational duties, this role must be able to identify process improvement opportunities, and subsequently work on those that have been approved - working with teams outside the PMO to ensure results are achieved.
- This position will report to the IT PMO and will not be managing projects.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
- Ability to resolve complex procedural issues.
- Ability to laterally lead working teams.
- Ability to work well with mid to senior management 10 or more years of Information Technology experience.
