I am in search of a qualified lead teacher for our 3 year old Preschool classroom at a daycare/preschool center. We need someone who is upbeat, positive, caring, energetic, and excited to work with kids in the early childhood industry. We need someone who would bee available to start working/training mid-to-late August.
Assistants must:
Be 18 years or older
Be willing to undergo multiple background checks (and get cleared)
Undergo 24 hours of child development training annually
Have a negative TB test within the last year
Be certified in Blood Borne Pathogens training
Child care experience required
Have at least the Child Development Associate certification for Preschool
Job duties include:
Lesson planning
Conferences twice a year
Leading children and staff in your classroom
Interacting with children, parents, and staff
Getting down on children's level for play and teaching
Helping children go to the bathroom
Feeding children
Light to moderate cleaning chores
and much more
This job is full-time. Schedules vary weekly depending on children's schedules. We are hoping for someone who is self-reliant, a quick learner, loves working with children, and works well with others. If you are interested, please email your resume and availability.
