Are you looking for a challenging role with a Global manufacturing company near the Kalamazoo, MI area? We are seeking a Training Project Coordinator to work near the Kalamazoo area.

This role supports the sterile vaccine filling unit in APS with training and support activities. Training/Project Coordinator may work with other groups to develop and qualification activities for all new and established sterile filling operators. This role will be responsible for setting up training, monitoring status of training, and developing training plan to efficiently train colleagues/contractors.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • PLS documentation and data entry for both colleagues and contracted service providers assigned to DP production units.
  • Develop training schedule and monitor progress through training of colleagues/contractors.
  • Ensure training documentation is accurate and complete. Role requires training data entry into Pfizer's Learning Solution (PLS) in a timely manner.
  • Author, develop and maintain DP and unit level Job Function, Job Task Curricula, SOPs, User Guides, On Job Training Checklists and Job Aids using the company Learning Solution (PLS). With an end result that cultivates efficient and effective training that can occur based on team matrix's that meets or exceeds cGMP's.
  • Interact with leadership to make appropriate curricula enrollments based on assigned tasks.
  • Work with Production leads on scheduling and tracking Line assignments of operators and technicians to ensure colleagues are active on all trained positions to support weekday and weekend coverage.
  • Generate a number of reports, metrics using PLS to monitor trainee progress and completion of Items and Requirements assigned to colleagues and contractors through Job Function and Job Task Curriculum
  • Schedule and facilitate blended hands-on work training with new Operator and Technician Assistants, explain and demonstrate DP production concepts, Line Preparation, operation and documentation within all applicable Site, DP, GMP, Environmental and Safety procedures
  • Trainers may be asked to participate in special projects, training room inspections, controlled copy review, document updates, and other miscellaneous activities. Trainers will need to learn some aspects of QTS, SAP, and PEPs computer systems. Some computer support of operations personnel will also be required. Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards and all regulatory requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Engineering/related field or military experience or an associate degree.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally with various teams
  • Position will work standard Monday-Friday schedule, however, weekend work may be required.
