Job Description
· Provides support to run analytical methods necessary for the characterization and release of the drug substance and drug product
· May provide support in purification laboratory to verify mass and purity of purified materials using LC/MS in high throughput environment.
· Conducts various experiments, primarily HPLC and GC, but may include water content, dissolution testing, and residual solvents
· Performs set up and analyzing stability samples of development and clinical supplies
· Documentation and reporting of results
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess :· Strong computer (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook), scientific, and organizational skills
· Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
· Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
· Experience supporting analytical methods
· Experience conducting HPLC, GC, and dissolution experiments
· HPLC industry experience preferred.
· Ability to develop and maintain effective, trusting work and customer relationships
· Self-starter, able to prioritize work and work efficiently with minimal supervision
Basic Minimum Qualifications :· Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
· At least 1 year of laboratory experience
· Ability to work with beta-lactams including cephalosporins and penicillins
· Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
