Job Description
Senior Services of Southwest Michigan is looking for qualified candidates to fill several part-time Home Care Aide positions available immediately. In this position, you must have the availability to work a variety of hours, based on our customers’ needs, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and/or evenings. Current positions offer an average of 20+ hours per week, but more hours may be available for those willing to work throughout Kalamazoo County. The ability to work overnight hours a plus!
Qualifications
Our talented, caring Home Care Aides provide personal care, homemaking and respite care for homebound older adults residing in the City of Kalamazoo and surrounding area. Completion of home health aide training or skill-based training is required. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in personal care, homemaking and respite. Good communication skills and experience working with older adults are also required. Must have reliable transportation with State minimum insurance to commute to a customer’s home and/or to transport our customers.
