We are hiring a Verification Engineer for a Pharmaceutical manufacturing client near the Kalamazoo area (per diem is available for candidates living 100+ miles from the Kalamazoo area). The Verification Engineer will support project activities to support equipment start-up and verification of our COVID19 vaccine formulation and freeze dry facilities.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide 24x7x365 project support of our automation systems, formulation equipment and formulation facilities in our COVID19 vaccine formulation and freeze facilities
  • Perform verification and automation activities to support equipment start-up and verification of our COVID19 vaccine formulation and freeze dry facilities. This includes documentation development, change control initiation, and approval routing.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and standards in a highly regulated environment.
  • GMP verification protocol generation and execution.
  • Develop new and follow existing standard operating procedures and programming guidelines.
  • Design, develop, deploy and test our automated processes, systems and equipment. Contribute substantially to the interpretation of results and the design of subsequent activities.
  • Maintain and support automation computing infrastructure.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and develop standard operating procedures and system support documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years related verification and/or automation experience and proven background leading, training and teaching teams of verification engineers to execute their work in aseptic environments including formulation, filling, and/or freeze drying.
  • Preferred working experience programming/using PLCs (Siemens PLC, Allen Bradley PLC, Staubli Robots, iFix, FTBatch, PlantPAX (Allen Bradley), FTView ME, & FT View SE systems, etc.)
  • High School Diploma (or GED) required. Associates/Bachelors in engineering or technology related field preferred
  • Understanding of systems architecture and operations, and related components
  • 1 year verification experience in a GMP environment strongly preferred.
