Docusign)Local Candidates who do not need to relocateMust be onsite starting with day 1; Onsite days are Tuesday’s and Wednesday’sProvide technical architecture expertise as it relates to the integration of systems, security,middleware, services, database design, hardware/server, and tools, to IT project business andtechnical requirement sessions and for system implementation. Lead and coordinate with other technical resources in the overall system design, implementation, andintegration of systems with other existing systems/technologies/data sources on multiple platformswithin the agency, across multiple state agencies, DTMB Bureau of Strategic Policy and EnterpriseArchitecture and with multiple vendors. Ensure the implementation of security standards in for systems migrating to new hostingenvironments. Provide technical leadership, guidance and direction to Application Architects, DatabaseAdministrators, Programmer/Analyst(s) supporting system design, database architecture and designand overall architecture functions in client agencies. Perform technical requirements analysis for cliententerprise level middleware, services, database, interfaces, and security. Oversee the design, development and testing of client enterprise level components, API’s and relateddatabases. Oversee and approve the development and changes to the architecture to ensure proper execution ofthe design. Provide technical support to application designers in the use of the architecture environment. Initiate, monitor, escalate, and resolve requests for infrastructure, security, and environment changesrequired to complete migration of systems to new hosting environments Provide “practical” technical solutions to the project and support teams to solve complex database,interfaces, and security problems. Oversee the development of testing plans, scenarios, and test data to ensure compliance and fit withthe overall architecture. Manage architecture components and documentation versions using the established configurationmanagement process and tools. Review the security and account administration services. Develop and monitor technical defects/errors as well as project and process roadblocks and facilitateproblem resolution Coordinate project and user application testing, load testing and system integration testing Provide input to procedures and ensure proper change management for all requested fixes toproduction systems Gather, review and analyze potential impacts of changes and inform DTMB management andsupported client agency of impact and risk to existing IT solutions due to enhancement requests,changes in hosting environments, changes in middleware/software versions Evaluate impact of new development tools, languages, upgrades and equipment on agency systemsand make recommendations to DTMB and/or agency clients. Work with vendors to integrate COTS applications with State standard solutions. Consult with agency clients to explain complex IT processes, DTMB standards, and solutions,developing and maintaining an effective communication plan within DTMB and agency clients relatingto project level metrics, bureau level project reporting, etc. Log Help Desk problem solutions in Help Desk Tracking tool and knowledge base (Remedy). Resolve issues related to the database administration such as connection errors, rollback,management of database configuration changes and other such issues, if applicable. Resolve issues related to the Windows Server Administration such as elevated rights, backup errors,configuration of items such as RAM, CPU, storage space, security configurations and other such issues,if applicable.
