Description We are in search of a Program Manager - Non IT to join our team in Lansing, Michigan. This role focuses on coordinating activities in fields such as engineering research, financial systems, and product roll-out. This is a long-term contract role that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.Responsibilities: Manage and oversee projects, developing detailed plans to reach set goals and directing the integration of technical activities. Present proposals, reports, and findings to clients in a thorough and understandable manner. Take responsibility for employee recruitment, assignment, direction, and evaluation, ensuring staff competence is maintained and developed. Assess technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan projects and gauge their feasibility. Liaise with management, production, and marketing teams to discuss project specifications and procedures. Review contracts and cost estimates, providing recommendations or approval as necessary. Utilize knowledge of production processes, quality control, and costs to ensure the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Implement strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods in line with business and management principles. Leverage computer software skills, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio to enhance productivity and efficiency. Maintain a focus on research and development in non-IT related fields to stay ahead of industry trends and innovations. Foster excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and facilitate team collaboration.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and MS Visio is required. Experience in reviewing and managing Contracts is essential. Familiarity with the software 'About Time' is desirable. Experience in Production, Engineering, and Methods is necessary. Knowledge of Strategic Planning is required. Experience in Facilities Management is REQUIRED. Experience in Fleet Management is REQUIRED Quality Control and Resource Allocation is preferred. Proficiency in Financial System and Rollout Plan management is necessary. Experience in the Manufacture industry, especially in Mechanical Engineering, is required. Must possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Written Communication abilities.
