The Service Manager for Field Service Operations manages day-to-day activities of the service technicians. This role is a supervisory level position that oversee technician’s performance and provides technical guidance during execution of projects. Additionally, this role will facilitate team member’s development and manage the reciprocal relationship between individual team members, and between team members and the organization.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:           Promote Environmental, Health & Safety objectives to ensure complete adherence to legal, regulatory and company policies.  Key team member of Field Service EHS continuous improvement initiativesOversite of the execution of project plans developed by in-house Project ManagersExecution of quality verification and facilitation as it relates to technician work being performed onsite at customer facilitiesRecommends actions to improve performance, and quality of service, and suggests changes in project plans to increase efficiencyIdentify, communicate, and facilitate action plans regarding potential customer risks and high priority projectsMaintain awareness of Technician skillsets and technical abilities to create and manage team member development plansPerform yearly evaluations of technicians in a timely mannerConsistently enforce employee compliance with safety and work rules, company policies, procedures, and standards via our corrective action disciplinary procedureAssist in recruitment efforts within the departmentExecute various other general responsibilities common to most supervisory positionsKey team member in process standardization, development, training, and implementationKey team member on Field Service Operational Excellence ProgramsTravel: Up to 50% overnight travel
