Dynamic individual with an outgoing, vibrant personality needed to create and provide a quality Resident Enrichment Program. We are looking for someone who loves working with seniors, enjoys planning activities, decorating, arts and crafts.
Use your creativity and passion to engage active seniors in opportunities for their social, physical, emotional, spiritual, vocational, creative and intellectual lives.
Use your knowledge of the surrounding community to connect to instructors, entertainers, community liaisons, tours, cultural and sporting events
Keep our residents moving! Coordinate professionals to lead movement and exercise classes.
Celebrate with our seniors! Plan and implement special events to celebrate resident birthdays, anniversaries and holidays
Use Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Outlook Calendar and other Microsoft Office Suite software to create a professional monthly newsletter to keep everyone informed of all the wonderful activities and fitness-related opportunities for residents.
Stay connected talk to residents and their families to get a good sense of their needs and interests, likes and dislikes.
40 hours per week

Minimum Requirements:
Enthusiasm, flexibility, positive attitude, patience, compassion
Must love working with seniors
Public relations skills
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with residents, staff, and vendors.
Current Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of employment
Competent in general computer applications; Microsoft Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel and Internet usage skills.
Ability to operate within a set budget.
High standards of ethics and personal accountability. We conduct criminal background checks as part of the hiring process.
Preferred Skills and Expertise:
Familiarity with challenges that affect seniors.
Activity/fitness work experience with senior citizens
