Friedland Industries is looking to hire a experienced forklift operator for our warehouse. This position is responsible for loading and unloading customers, weighing, tagging, and stacking baled and boxed products from various areas within the plant, and loading and unloading dry vans. The typical work week is M-F 8:00-5:00, with opportunities for overtime.
The ideal candidate should posses:
-a safety-first attitude
-basic math and English skills
-good penmanship
-speed and efficiency operating a ride-on propane fork truck
-punctuality
-basic computer skills
-ability to multi task
Friedland is a family-owned scrap processing facility that has been located in the same spot for over 130 years. We are a union shop, offering full benefits, 401k contribution, medical/dental insurance, and much more. This position starts at $16.44/hour and increases to $17.44 after a 60 working day probation.
