Job Description

The A/PAssociatewill be part ofDentsu’sGlobal Operational Financemedia bill payorganization within theUS and will beresponsible forprocessing media vendor invoices through use of various tools within the organization.TheA/PAssociate isimportant in drivingresults through accounts payable vendor invoice processing leveraging multiple systems and communication with various stakeholders withinDentsu.

Key activities this role will be focussing on are as follows:

  • Ability to accurately and timely process high volumes of media vendor invoices in a shared service environment

  • Partner withcolleaguesand managementto research andresolve processing issues across the mediapayablesworkflow

  • Ability to identify root cause of payables processing errors and suggestways to resolve

  • Participates in projects related to A/Pprocessimprovements

  • Respond to vendor and internal customer inquiries through email and phone communication

  • Maintainshigh-level of customer satisfaction through quality service

  • Work cross functionally withbrandsand supplier base to ensure timelyclearance of invoicesin accordance with SLA agreements

  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested within the accounts payable Team

Qualifications

Whatwe’re looking for:

  • Associate’sdegree in business, or any other highly quantitative disciplineor1yearofprofessional experiencein a corporate finance department

  • Knowledge of accounts payable/purchasing methodology and basic accounting principles

  • Attention to detail, problem solvingand critical thinking abilities

  • Effective interpersonal and team skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task, work with deadlines and respond quickly to change

  • Strong Customer Focus with excellentcommunication skills

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Ability to build & fosterpositive, collaborativeworking relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Intermediate to advancedproficiency inMicrosoft Suite of products

  • Proven ability to leverage systems and tools effectively to accomplish tasks

  • Must possess a willingness to learn and grow to meet the changing requirements of the job and business
