The role focuses on utilizing the Microsoft System Center Configuration Management (SCCM) product for software, device, deployment, infrastructure and platform management. The desired work location is in Midland, MI. Responsibilities:

  • Organizes, schedules, and delivers global deployments of software applications
  • Manages deployment of all operating system patches, critical updates and feature updates
  • Creates logical groups of users and devices (collections)
  • Provides client support, troubleshooting, technical issue resolution and root cause analysis
  • Configures operating system deployment tasks and components
  • Designs and develops device configuration settings
  • Participates in after-hours support schedule
  • Partners with application teams to ensure business software is tested and follows release management guidelines
  • Coordinates with packaging teams to deliver a productive, consistent, and reliable employee experience when utilizing a workstation
  • Utilizes scripting languages (PowerShell, VBScript) to automate processes and activities (Desirable)
  • Monitors the health and performs periodic platform upgrades of the SCCM hierarchy
  • Documents or revises user remediation and technical process and procedures
  • Designs and creates custom dashboards and reports based on functional requirements (Desirable)
  • Builds queries utilizing SQL and WQL (Desirable)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • ship is required
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • SCCM deployment and infrastructure knowledge including troubleshooting, and implementation experience
  • Experience with Windows desktop and server operating system platform administration, configuration, and support
  • Experience with monitoring of ticketing system, prioritizing problems, supporting projects, and supporting enterprise level infrastructure
  • Experience installing, patching/maintaining, and troubleshooting applications and operating systems
  • Proficiency in software development and/or scripting languages (Desirable)
  • Moderate understanding of network infrastructure, desktop virtualization, and IT security
