Fusion Fluid Equipment LLC is a fast-growing manufacturing facility located in Whitehall, MI. Fusion fabricates industrial mixing equipment for all industries. Every order is custom made, so your creativity and skill will show in each product.
Fusion is looking for an experienced machinist / fabricator that has a good attitude and is a team player. This individual must be motivated, flexible and energetic, as sometimes project deadlines require extra time. Extra time and effort, as well as efficient work habit is reflected directly in pay.
Experienced machinists only, please.
Prospective applicant must have experience and be proficient in the following:
-Manual milling, +/- .002
-Manual lathe turning up to +/- .0005
-Print reading
-COMMUNICATION with fellow employees
-Read a production schedule and work with team to allocate efforts accordingly
-Performance on a faster pace (with slightly reduced tolerances) than general tool room type practice
Common tasks include:
-Machining/Fabricating concentric weldments
-Turning shafts and shoulders
-Milling keys, windows, and slots
-One-off fabrication on manual lathes and mills
-Assembly
-Pneumatics
-Electrical
-Controls
Overtime:
-Average work week is 46 hours (historically, and averaging the entire year)
-Generally speaking about 4-6 Saturdays per year, and generally they are partial days
-We have not worked a Sunday in several years
-Occasional stretches of 50-55 hour work weeks, but most overtime accomplished during the weekdays
