Lead Cook/ Chef (Traverse City)

We are a local establishment that is open year round and offering a full time position as lead cook/ chef. We are looking for a person with cooking talent. We would like someone that has a well rounded background and who can bring their history to the position. The right person will be the lead person in the kitchen. This person will create weekly specials, maintain quality control on the existing menu, hire and supervise the rest of the kitchen staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and the clientele is stable and pleasant. There is room for mixing with guests and locals. This person can take pride in offering their culinary skills in the form of specialty dishes each week. We would like to keep the location private until we find the right candidate.
