Role: Software Quality Engineer Location: Northville, MI Onsite Experience: 5+ Years Contract Position Department IOT Job Description: Top 3 Must Haves 1. Software Quality 2.ASPICE 3.Embedded C and MATLAB Preferred skills: ASPICE and Software quality process 1. Analyze the current process and define the end-to-end process for controller development for both application software and base software. 2. Provide a gap analysis report and recommended process documentation. 3. Define methodology for each step of the process from system engineering to validation, in discussion with the technical team. 4. Benchmark different tool chains and recommend the best suitable tools for System Engineering, Software Development, Validation (MIL, SIL, HIL), in discussion with the technical. 5. Check compliance with ASPICE process. If is already targeting or following any particular ASPICE level, the team would consider the same. 6. Check compliance with functional safety process. This will be generic process and based on the ASIL level of the product. The process steps and/or artifacts would be added/removed 7. Define quality gates for each step of the activity. 8. Define templates for each of the artifacts to be generated for each process step. Ex. System architecture document, software architecture document, software review report etc.
