Job Description
- Design and maintain active safety application software that enhances vehicle performance and safety for a wide variety of projects that range from high performance sports cars, electric vehicles, medium heavy trucks, powersports, and highly autonomous driving applications.
- Design and perform tests and analyze measurements from different testing environments which include in-vehicle testing, as well as, open-loop, SIL, and HIL simulation environments.
- Collaborate on cross-functional Agile teams both domestic and abroad.
- Support the calibration team both remotely and onsite.
- Interface with the customer to support functional requirements and help resolve any software related issues.
Qualifications
Required:- At least 3 years of industry experience
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or other technical discipline.
- Industry experience in at least one of the following:
- designing and implementing control algorithms
- model based software design
- vehicle dynamics
- 1 year of software programming experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be a team player with good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong physics background.
- Working knowledge of vehicles.
- Experience designing and implementing control algorithms.
- Intermediate to advance skills in C programming or similar language.
- Familiarity with graphical programming, i.e. Simulink, ASCET.
- Familiarity with simulation tools i.e. CarSim, CarMaker, MATLAB, Simulink, SIL, HIL, or Labcar.
- Above average driving skills with a willingness to learn to drive at a vehicle's limits.
