Job Description

Working as part of an agile Software development team, this role will involve developing embedded cyber security software for brake systems. As an agile software developer, you will be expected to perform following tasks:

  • Analyze customer's cyber security requirements and create related subsystems and module requirements.
  • Discuss the interface specifications for affected components w/ the component responsible.
  • Design, implement or modify existing generic embedded security software to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Validate the implemented solutions to ensure that customer requirement are fulfill.
  • Release the validated cyber security components as per the project schedule.
  • Coordinate w/ the platform development group in Germany for support in the development of these software components if required.
  • Develop, implement, & test the SW solution using applicable tools.
  • 10% of travel may be necessary to Bosch & Customer Test Facilities in US & abroad for summer & winter validation of the assigned functions.
  • Flexible, in order to participate in test sessions in different locations (in and outside of the U.S. during all-weather seasons).

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years’ experience with embedded software development.
  • 3+ years' experience in the C and C programming languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Knowledge on AUTOSAR cyber security modules.
  • Knowledge in the cyber security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols JTAG etc.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to find solutions in a complex solution space.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Development environments for embedded systems- cross-compilation, debug tools, ICE, etc.
  • Past experience dealing with OEM customers with strong negotiation skills.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills to work in a global organization.
